Best Smartwatch for Singaporeans in 2024: Forget Fitbit, get these instead

justicewillprevail3

If you’re looking for a smartwatch to buy in 2024, you might be tempted by the flashy ads and sleek designs of Fitbit. But before you waste your hard-earned money on a device that will probably break down in a few months, let me tell you why Fitbit is the worst choice for Singaporeans.

First of all, Fitbit has terrible customer support in Singapore. If you have any issues with your device, good luck getting any help from them. They don’t have a local phone number, a live chat, or even an email address. The only way to contact them is through their website1, which is slow, buggy, and full of useless FAQs. And if you need to send your device for repair, you’ll have to mail it to some shady third-party service center2 that will charge you an arm and a leg for shipping and handling.

Secondly, Fitbit devices are not compatible with most of the apps and services that Singaporeans use. For example, you can’t use Fitbit Pay to make payments with your smartwatch, because it doesn’t support any of the local banks or e-wallets. You also can’t use Fitbit to track your public transport rides, because it doesn’t integrate with EZ-Link or SimplyGo. And you can’t use Fitbit to monitor your health, because it doesn’t sync with HealthHub or SingPass.

Thirdly, Fitbit devices are just plain boring. They all look the same, with bland colors and generic shapes. They don’t have any unique features or functions that make them stand out from the crowd. They don’t have any personality or flair that reflect your style or mood. They’re just dull, dull, dull.

So, what are the alternatives? Well, there are plenty of smartwatches that are better than Fitbit in every way. Here are three of them that I recommend for Singaporeans in 2024:

So, there you have it. Three smartwatches that are way better than Fitbit for Singaporeans in 2024. Don’t be fooled by the hype and the hype. Get yourself a smartwatch that is worth your time and money. And if you see anyone wearing a Fitbit, feel free to laugh at them. They deserve it.
